Accuracy

We check version numbers, update notes and settings paths against each app's Google Play listing and the developer's public help pages, as well as we can. Apps are released in stages and differ by device, Android version, region and account, so your screen may not match our pages. When our page and the app's official Google Play page disagree, the official page is the one to follow.

App files and outside links

We do not host or alter any app on this site. Every store button in our issues, reviews and guides opens the app's official listing on Google Play, the App Store or the Microsoft Store, published by the developer named there. For desktop software without a store listing, the button opens a Google search for the developer's official page; we do not link to files.
